CM Yogi: “Jobs Reach Where Schemes Once Didn’t”

LUCKNOW – In a ceremony at Lok Bhawan Auditorium, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to 2,425 Anganwadi workers (Mukhy Sevika) and 13 pharmacists. The selections were made through a transparent and fair recruitment process by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

CM Yogi highlighted that the recruitment process has enabled people from remote areas, who previously didn’t benefit from government schemes, to secure jobs. He cited the selection of young women from the Tharu tribal community and other remote regions as a “living example” of this unbiased process.

Talent is Everywhere, It Just Needs Opportunity

Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi said that the selection list showed candidates from across Uttar Pradesh, including cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, and Varanasi, as well as remote districts. “The selection of two daughters from the Tharu tribe, from the forests near Dudhwa National Park in Lakhimpur Kheri, proves that talent is everywhere; it just needs an opportunity,” he stated.

He emphasized that a fair and transparent process was the only way to ensure that these candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds were selected on merit. The Chief Minister told the appointees that their new roles were a reward for their hard work and that they now had a responsibility towards society.

Beneficiaries Share Their Stories

Appointees shared their experiences with CM Yogi, expressing gratitude for the transparent process. Nandhu Rana, a Tharu woman selected as a Mukhy Sevika from Lakhimpur Kheri, said, “I am from the forests near Dudhwa National Park, a very backward area with limited basic facilities. I studied with limited resources, and today, thanks to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s efforts, I have been selected through a fair process.”

Other beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds also praised the Yogi government’s transparent recruitment drive. They collectively stated, “We have received our due, and we will fulfill our duties with honesty.”

The event was attended by Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna, Minister of Women and Child Development Baby Rani Maurya, State Minister Pratibha Shukla, and Principal Secretary Leena Johri, along with other departmental officials.
